Friends, this is a Conservative Solihull.
Two years of hard work and campaigning are just a downpayment for what I will deliver as your new MP. We are a prosperous town but we still face acute challenges such as provision of services at the local hospital, maintaining our excellent schools and ensuring that we retain the right to govern ourselves.
The number of people who have helped me in this campaign are almost too numerous to mention, but I would like to thank my volunteers for all their hard work, time, energy, and friendship over the past two years. I would also like to thank the Green, UKIP, and Labour candidates for their positive campaign, and I pay testament to Lorely Burt's hard work in the past decade and wish her well for the future. Finally, I would like to commend the polling station helpers and council officers for their often unnoticed help in running the election.
Most of all, I would like to thank you. Whether or not you voted for me, I will work for you, to forge a Solihull which is integrated, content, and a better place to live.
Yours,
,
Julian Knight
Conservative Member of Parliament for Solihull
